    Cooking guide: (Argentine Shrimp Scampi)

    Ingredients:

    • 500g Argentine Red Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
    • Salt and pepper to taste 
    • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
    • Cooked pasta or crusted bread (to serve)

    Instructions:

    1. Preparation: If your shrimp is frozen, thaw it and pat dry with paper towels. Then in a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    2. Cooking the Shrimp: Add the Argentine Red Shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp turns pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

    3. Making the Sauce: Lower the heat to medium and add the white wine (if using) to the skillet. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    4. Combine: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for another minute to heat through.

    5. Serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish. Serve the Argentine Red Shrimp Scampi immediately over cooked pasta or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Enjoy!
