Cooking Guide: (Ginger Soy Salmon)
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
- 1 tablespoon sushi ginger, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Sushi ginger slices for garnish
- Green onions, thinly sliced for garnish
Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, honey, minced garlic, and chopped sushi ginger.

Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour marinade over them. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours).

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Heat sesame oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Add salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.

Transfer skillet to the oven and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish with sushi ginger slices and green onions before serving.
